Terms of Use
The service
Ledger is a workout logging app for iPhone. You bring your own program, exercises and routines; Ledger records what you lift and shows you your own numbers, including what you did last time and what would beat it. Ledger does not write programs or provide medical or professional coaching advice.
Your data and device
Ledger doesn't use accounts. Your data is stored on your iPhone and, if Sync is on, in your private iCloud storage. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your device and Apple ID secure. If Sync is off, deleting the app or losing your phone deletes your data, so export a copy if you want one. You must be at least 13 years old to use Ledger.
Subscriptions and billing
- New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. If notifications are on, Ledger reminds you two days before it ends.
- Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and your Apple ID is charged the price of the plan you selected (Annual or Monthly).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your content
You own the training data you log. It stays on your device and in your iCloud, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we don't have access to it. You can export or delete it at any time from the You tab.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the app, get around its subscription, or interfere with its normal operation.
No fitness or medical advice
Ledger's weekly read, records and suggestions, such as the smallest increase that would beat last time, are informational observations about your own logged data, not medical, nutritional, or professional coaching advice. Consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your training.
Disclaimer & liability
Ledger is provided "as is." We aim for accuracy in every number the app shows (records, trends, volume, what beats last time) but you're responsible for how you apply that information in the gym. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for injuries or losses arising from use of the app.
Apple
These terms are between you and Ledger, not Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
